You know how it is. You have a ton of cool ideas, projects you’re working on, and things you want to share. But then life happens. I’ve been wanting to write more on here, but I always get stuck trying to make every post “perfect,” which usually means nothing ever gets published.

Well, that’s stopping now.

So, here’s the deal: I’m going to post something new here every single week. I’m putting this out there to hold myself accountable and to get into the habit of actually sharing what I’m learning.

The Stuff I’ll Be Writing About

If I’m going to pull this off, I need a plan. Trying to write about “everything tech” is a surefire way to get burned out. So, I’m going to stick to the things I’m genuinely nerding out about these days. Expect to see posts on:

  • AI: This stuff is moving crazy fast, and I’m trying to keep up. I’ll share cool projects, new tools I’m trying, and break down what I’m learning in a way that makes sense.

  • Virtualization Tech: I love playing with VMs, containers, and hypervisors. Expect posts about my homelab adventures with Proxmox, Docker, and other cool virtualization tools.

  • Kubernetes & Cloud Native: This is the deep end of the pool for modern apps. I’ll be sharing my notes from the field as I try to tame K8s and figure out the cloud-native world.

  • Raspberry Pi Projects: My favorite little computer! This is where the fun DIY stuff happens. From home automation to pointless-but-awesome gadgets, I’ll post the builds here.

  • All Things Linux: It’s my daily driver and the backbone of most of my projects. I’ll be sharing tips, tricks, and maybe some reviews of different distros I’m playing with.

So, How Am I Actually Going to Do This?

A goal is useless without a game plan. Here’s my simple strategy to stay on track:

  1. The Brain Dump: I’ve started a running list of post ideas for all these topics. Anytime I fix a weird bug, learn something new, or get an idea for a project, it goes on the list.
  2. Calendar is King: I’ve officially blocked out time on Wednesday nights for writing. Friday is for editing and hitting “publish.” It’s an appointment with myself.
  3. Done is Better Than Perfect: This is the big one. Some posts might be short. Some might just be a quick tip or a code snippet. The goal is to get it out the door and share something useful.

So that’s the plan. I’m excited to get started and share the journey. If any of this sounds interesting to you, stick around! Feel free to drop a comment and let me know what you’d like to see first.
